Aaryn Blain was born into a musical family. His father is a songwriter, musician, and a distinguished audio engineer, whose recordings have won at the Grammys, Emmys, and Sundance film festival. The atmosphere of his father's studio was a major part of Aaryn's childhood environment. Sitting in on many recording sessions as he was growing up, Aaryn witnessed his father engineering for musicians such as keyboardist David Sancious, Jazz artist Archie Schepp, and the legendary Yusef Lateef. This early immersion into the music industry influenced Aaryn’s future work.

Self taught on the piano, Aaryn began composing original music in his early teens. These compositions developed organically from his foundation in rhythm & blues and classical forms. Aaryn's original tracks, collaborations and remixes have been signed to various labels including FDS Recordings, Curvve Recordings, PH Recordings, Source of Gravity Recordings and Reversible Records. Mr. Blain's funky R&B remix of 'Carismo' on Curvve Recordings has been stunning club audiences with its phat sonic architecture, bumpin’ rhythms, and retro riffs. His remix of ‘Carismo’ held the number 2 spot on Beatport two consecutive weeks in a row. Blain's remix of 'Carismo' is licensed 'Ley Lines 2' on Journeys By DJ and Steve Porter's critically acclaimed DJ compilation, ‘Porterhouse.’ Mr. Blain’s ‘Crescendo’ and ‘Raging Elephant’ were licensed by EQ Recordings to Steve Porters, ‘Porterhouse Vol. 2.' Aaryn has collaborated on many productions with DJ/Producer Steve Porter. Their track 'Polar Tilt' was licensed to DJ Doran's 'Automatic' compilation on V2 Records, while another production, 'Polar Tech', was chosen by DJ D: Fuse for his ‘Progressive Sessions 1.0’ on Moonshine Records. The latest work from the dynamic duo, ‘Trans AM’ is bundled with Aaryn’s remix of Steve Porter’s ‘Fluffer Nutter’ to form the 'Operation Berlin' EP, signed by Chris Fortier to FDS Recordings. With many irons in the fire Mr. Blain continues to fuel his music production career.
